INETA Live: Announces Live Webcasts Series

Steve Andrews, the INETA Director of Technology, has just announced the INETA Live Webcast Series.  He has teamed up with Rachel Appel to host several webcast this month.

INETA Speakers Bureau: New Speakers for 2009

INETA_SB David Walker, INETA VP of Speakers and the Speakers Bureau Committee have announced the newest members of the INETA NorAm Speakers Bureau. 

I have been a volunteer on the Speakers Bureau Committee since TechEd 2008 and it has been great experience seeing the awesome level of speakers that are available from INETA. 

If you are a member of a User Group that is not an INETA User Group I highly recommend that you register you group so that you can begin to enjoy the benefits of enjoying these awesome speakers.

 

Please join me in welcome the everyone and prepare to get ready to request them for this years meetings.

INETA Speaker Nominations: National and Regional Speakers Wanted!

INETANewLogo_jpgDavid Walker, the VP of Speakers Bureau, INETA NorAm, announced the following information regarding nominations to the North American INETA Speakers bureau,  and INETA’s new Regional Speakers Bureau.

Nominations for the NorAm (North American) Speakers Bureau will be accepted until midnight CST on December 28th, 2008.  To nominate someone fill out the document here and email it to noram.speakers@ineta.org.

Since only a select amount of new speakers can be added, don't get discouraged. You will also be considered for the new INETA NORAM Regional Speakers Bureau - see details below.

On December 31st, 2008, the new speakers to join the elite ranks of the INETA NORAM Speakers Bureau will be announced.

Jeffry Palermo: TDD, DI, Soc with ASP .NET MVC TONIGHT!!!

Don't forget that Jeffry Palermo is speaking tonight at a special Nwa .NET User Group meeting.  He will be speaking about TDD, DI, and Soc with ASP .NET MVC.

Description: Spelled out, it is test-driven development, dependency injection, and separation of concerns with Active Server Pages .Net Model View Controller.  This talk will dive into how to design a presentation layer using ASP.NET MVC.  In today's industry, TDD, DI, and SoC are proven concepts that lead to more maintainable applications.  Along with demonstrating how to use these techniques with ASP.NET MVC, we will discuss just what concerns should be separated.  This talk provides a unique perspective on separation of concerns and uses TDD and DI to make it happen.  MvcContrib is used in all the demos.

Presenter: Jeffrey Palermo is a software management consultant and the CTO of Headspring Systems in Austin, TX. Jeffrey specializes in Agile coaching and helps companies double the productivity of software teams.
